Norwich City manager Chris Hughton has praised his team for the way that they performed against Stoke City.
Jonny Howson scored the only goal of the game at the Britannia Stadium to give the Canaries their first victory away from home this season.
"This is a tough place to come. We had really good spells were we dominated possession," Hughton told BBC Sport.
"We coped with their threat, we had a bad result last week and we knew it was important to start well.
"We played with a high tempo and the players deserve everything. It's about picking up points and hopefully this will give us some confidence."
Next up for Hughton's team is a home match against Chelsea.
