Norwich City manager Chris Hughton has vowed not to look too many games into the future ahead of the busy festive Premier League schedule.
Hughton's Norwich take on Sunderland on Saturday and the manager was keen to stress the importance of picking up points consistently following good performances.
"With the amount of games that we have over the Christmas period, you have to take one game at a time," Hughton told reporters.
"Sunderland will be buoyed by their win over Chelsea, but we're in decent form ourselves and that's what we have to focus on. We'll need to show the characteristics that we had in the West Bromwich Albion win if we want to win this weekend."
The Canaries are 14th, while Sunderland are bottom of the table.
