Norwich City midfielder Bradley Johnson has insisted that manager Chris Hughton deserves to keep his job.
The club's chief executive David McNally recently suggested that the Premier League outfit are keeping their options open should they part company with Hughton.
However, Johnson has insisted that Hughton is the right man to keep the Canaries in the top flight this season.
"I don't agree with clubs sacking their managers if they are at the near bottom of the table," The Express quotes Johnson as saying. "We have stuck by our gaffer and we always will do.
"It's not right people are talking about his future. All he does at the end of the day is picks the team and it's down to us to go out there and get the results."
Norwich are currently four points above the relegation zone in the league table.
