Paul Lambert has said that whoever starts for Norwich at Swansea will be expected to do well.
The Canaries boss, who is expected to be without both of the club's starting centre-halves, insists that he has no intention of making excuses ahead of their showdown with the Swans. Instead, he expects the next man to step up.
"I've great belief that whoever comes in will do well," he said.
"Elliott Ward is doing fine. He has trained with us for a number of weeks now, so I wouldn't fear throwing him in, and the situation is the same for Leon Barnett too.
"We'll go down there with confidence. We've had to come from League One to the Championship and then go up again. Credit to the team."
Meanwhile, Swansea will be looking to leapfrog their rivals in the Premier League table with a win in Wales this weekend.
