Norwich City manager Alex Neil has insisted that the first goal will be "crucial" in his side's Premier League clash with West Bromwich Albion on Saturday afternoon.
The Canaries and the Baggies are separated by just two points in the table, and Neil has acknowledged that gaining a foothold in a match between two well-matched sides is important as they look to move away from the relegation zone.
The 34-year-old told reporters: "West Brom will be a testing game. The first goal is crucial in this type of match.
"Winning the game is the most important thing this weekend. In most games we've played, we've performed relatively well."
Norwich head into the match at Carrow Road on the back of a 6-2 defeat at Newcastle United last weekend.
