Norwich City manager Alex Neil has said that his side should have won against Derby County today and blamed their 1-1 draw on poor finishing.
Cameron Jerome gave the Canaries a half-time lead, but an own goal from goalkeeper John Ruddy allowed Derby to escape Carrow Road with a point.
Neil told BBC Sport: "Obviously when you make a mistake as a goalkeeper it is highlighted and obviously John is disappointed with the result, as we all are. But he has been fantastic since I've come in and it was what it was.
"The main thing to say is that we would have won the game if we had converted more of the chances we created. We had plenty of opportunities and I can't remember Derby having one."
Norwich sit fifth in the Championship table, one place behind Derby in a fierce promotion race.
