Norwich City have announced that Alan Bowkett has stepped down from his role as chairman and director of the Premier League club.
The Canaries have insisted that Bowkett's departure will not affect the ownership of the club.
Bowkett, who joined the board of directors in 2009, will be replaced in due course.
A statement from Norwich read: "The new directors will bring additional expertise and fresh ideas about growing the business, as Norwich City continues its commitment to maintaining Premier League status and developing the football club on and off the pitch."
Alex Neil's team are 16th in the Premier League table after 15 games.
