Norwich City will not recall Jordan Hugill from his loan with West Bromwich Albion, according to loans manager Andrew Hughes.
The striker initially joined the Baggies in the summer, but so far he has only managed to find the back of the net once in his 20 appearances within the Championship.
Valerien Ismael had hinted that the loan deal could end up being cut short; however, Hughes has insisted that the Canaries will not be bringing him back this month.
"He has scored one goal, so he has not scored enough, so there is an argument of whether we could recall him. Well, we are not going to recall a striker that is not in form," he told Pinkun.
"He knows that, he is not stupid, he's been around the game. But I will say is that he is an absolutely top professional and he cannot do any more to look after himself on and off the pitch physically to be ready."
Norwich City managed to get themselves out of the relegation zone with their 3-0 victory over Watford, with the Canaries now finding themselves 17th in the table. body check tags ::
