Norwich City boss Chris Hughton has revealed that Jonny Howson will face a late fitness test ahead of the team's Premier League clash with Fulham on Boxing Day.
The 25-year-old midfielder was forced to miss Saturday's goalless draw at Sunderland with a back problem.
"We're going to assess Jonny over these next few days," Hughton told the club's official website.
"He felt his back during the week before the Sunderland game and he was certainly too sore for that one, so we'll just have to see how that settles down over the next couple of days."
Howson recently signed a new four-and-a-half-year contract extension with the club.
