Steven Whittaker has warned his Norwich City teammates that they can expect more teams to deploy similar tactics to the ones used by Charlton Athletic against them at Carrow Road last night.
The hosting Canaries dominated large spells of the possession, but they found it hard to break down Bob Peeters's team, who often had all 11 players behind the ball.
Speaking after his side's 1-0 defeat, Whittaker told the Eastern Daily Press: "They set up to get plenty of men behind the ball and didn't give us a lot of space to play in, but I think that's going to happen here at Carrow Road.
"Teams will come and do that to us, and it's something we need to expect and work on."
Next up for Neil Adams's side is a home clash with Rotherham United on Saturday.
