Former Norwich City striker Leon McKenzie has backed current manager Chris Hughton as the club battle to avoid relegation from the Premier League this season.
The Canaries are currently four points above the relegation places in 14th, and McKenzie said that Hughton is fully deserving of the recent mini run of form that he has enjoyed.
"It's a hard one because the demands are to win games and it doesn't matter who you are or what what you have done in the past," McKenzie told Sky Sports News. "It's a pressure job, it really is, but I like Chris Hughton.
"I've got a lot of time for him and I respect him a lot. I'm glad he's pulling off a few results and I hope they stick with him because he's a good manager and a good guy as well."
McKenzie scored for Norwich nine years ago today in a 3-2 home defeat to Manchester City.
