Norwich City defender Joseph Yobo has admitted that he is excited by the team's battle to stay in the Premier League.
The Canaries are currently one point above the relegation zone following a winless run of four matches.
Despite their dangerous predicament near the foot of the table, Yobo insists that he is looking forward to the months ahead.
"You look at the club's situation and of course it is a challenge but I like that extra motivation. I understand the situation Norwich is in. I am excited about it," he told The Pink 'Un.
"Sometimes you can get comfortable if you are in a team winning every game. You see how many teams are involved at the bottom. If you squeeze out two results you go right to the top end. If you lose you come back towards the bottom."
Yobo joined Norwich on a loan deal until the end of the season from Fenerbahce last month.
