Norwich City have leapfrogged Watford into fifth in the Championship courtesy of a 3-0 win at Vicarage Road.
Cameron Jerome struck either side of a Lewis Grabban brace as the visitors recorded an important win in their push for promotion to the Premier League.
The visitors were awarded a free kick in a promising position inside the first 10 minutes, but Steven Whittaker could only fire over the bar.
Odion Ighalo did well before the half-hour mark to supply strike partner Troy Deeney, but the Hornets captain fired wide from a tight angle.
Norwich could have had the lead when Heurelho Gomes punched into the path of Whittaker, but his long-range effort was off target.
The Canaries were claiming for a penalty when Jerome went down inside the area under a challenge from Joel Erkstrand, but the referee waved away their appeals.
The deadlock was finally broken after the hour mark when Grabban slammed home a penalty, after Wes Hoolahan was judged to have been fouled inside the area.
Five minutes later, Norwich extended their advantage when Jerome hit a half-volley that looped over Gomes.
Grabban then claimed his second of the afternoon with five minutes left to give Norwich a convincing away win.
