Norwich City midfielder David Fox has signed a new two-year deal with the club, with an option of a third year.

The 28-year-old Fox, who has made 60 league appearances for Norwich since joining the club in 2010, made his comeback from injury in Norwich's 2-1 League Cup win against Scunthorpe United and is now back in first-team contention.

Speaking to Norwich's official website, manager Chris Hughton said: "I'm thrilled he's signed a new contract and committed himself to the club for the next two years.

"He's got plenty of quality and experience which I'm sure he'll continue to bring to the squad like he has since he arrived at the club.

"He's missed a lot of pre-season this year but it's great to now have him back in training, fully fit and available for selection."

Fox has scored just one goal in all competitions for Norwich.
