Norwich City football consultant Joe Royle has hinted that the Canaries will fight hard to keep winger Robert Snodgrass at the Championship club.
Snodgrass has been linked with a move to a number of Premier League clubs, but Royle, who joined Neil Adams's backroom staff on Monday, has admitted that the Scot is highly regarded by all involved at Norwich and won't be allowed to leave on the cheap.
Royle told talkSPORT: "We are all hoping that he will be here next year. He's got a great attitude and we think very highly of him.
"I'm told that right to the last whistle of the last game, he was doing his best to win a game for Norwich. He's the type that you want around."
Snodgrass scored seven goals in 34 appearances last season but he couldn't help prevent Norwich from being relegated from the top flight.
