Nottingham Forest boss Stuart Pearce has lamented another "elementary mistake" that condemned them to an FA Cup upset at the hands of Rochdale.
Michail Antonio's concession of a 12th-minute penalty converted by Peter Vincenti gifted the League One side a 1-0 third-round win at Spotland.
Pearce has admitted that these type of soft errors are hampering Forest's form and must be eradicated.
"We've once again gifted the opposition a very, very soft goal," he told the club's official website.
"That decision-making under pressure has cost us. Apart from that we probably dominated the game. We had a host of efforts, especially in the second half, but we failed to create a goal.
"They're showing enough endeavour, but if you make elementary mistakes in our own box it's going to be costly."
Forest have won just two of their last 17 Championship games to slip from top to 11th in the table.
