Nottingham Forest have reportedly re-opened talks with Stuart Pearce over the managerial vacancy at the club.
The Championship outfit are currently looking for a new boss following the sacking of Billy Davies last week.
Pearce, 51, was a heavy favourite to take over at the City Ground before confirming that he had rejected the chance to manage the team.
However, the former defender is now back in discussions with Forest over a possible contract, according to Sky Sports News.
Pearce spent 12 years as a player with the club, a spell which included a brief period as caretaker manager.
