Nottingham Forest held promotion hopefuls Blackpool to a 0-0 draw at the City Ground this afternoon.
The home side had the best chance of the first half when Greg Cunningham broke down the left, only to be denied by Matt Gilks.
The second half panned out in much the same way as the first, with neither side able to create clear cut chances and neither keeper being stretched.
Forest perhaps had the better of the match, but were unable to find a way past the Blackpool defence, despite Cunningham once again coming close towards the end.
The result means that Nottingham Forest move up a place to 19th, now seven points clear of the relegation zone, while Blackpool remain fifth.
