Ben Watson has completed a move to Nottingham Forest on a two-and-a-half-year contract.
At the end of the January transfer window, Watson was allowed to leave Watford on a free transfer and that led to a number of clubs being interested in the 32-year-old's signature.
However, Forest have moved quickly to bring in the experienced midfielder on a deal which will run until 2020.
Watson had spent three years at Vicarage Road, but the player had made just eight appearances in the Premier League this season before finding himself out of the plans of new boss Javi Gracia.
Forest head coach Aitor Karanka has attempted to transform his squad since arriving at the City Ground, with the East Midlands outfit sitting in 16th place in the Championship table.
