Nottingham Forest winger Djamel Abdoun has joined Belgian side Lokeren on loan until the end of the season.
The 28-year-old Algerian's last appearance for Forest came back in March 2014.
Abdoun moved to the City Ground from Greek champions Olympiacos at the start of the 2013-14 campaign.
Forest confirmed on Sunday that Dougie Freedman would be replacing Stuart Pearce as manager.
The club currently sits in 12th place in the Championship table, 13 points behind the last playoff position.
