Nottingham Forest striker Jamie Mackie has said that he is "delighted" with his move to the club.
The 27-year-old joined the City Ground outfit from Queens Park Rangers on Thursday evening after signing a three-year deal.
He told Sky Sports News: "I'm absolutely delighted to get the move to Nottingham Forest. It's a massive football club and I can't wait to get playing now.
"It's massive, it's got a great fanbase, fantastic facilities and in my opinion is all geared up to be right up there this season.
"I've got great memories of QPR. I had a fantastic time and got promoted with them, enjoying some unbelievable memories which will always stay with me."
Mackie made 29 appearances for QPR last season in the Premier League, scoring two goals in the process.
