Barnsley have completed the loan signing of Marcus Tudgay from fellow Championship side Nottingham Forest.
The 29-year-old has only featured for the Tricky Trees twice so far this season - the last of which came back in August.
As a result, Forest manager Sean O'Driscoll has allowed the striker to depart in order to gain some regular starting action.
He has linked up with a club that has only found the net once in their last four outings.
The deal is due to expire in January, although a clause has been inserted which will let the Tykes make Tudgay's move a permanent one at any time.
