Pacos de Ferreira put in a commanding performance to thrash Uniao 6-0 in their Primeira Liga clash this evening.
The home side took the lead in the ninth minute when Moreira Romeu latched on to a loose ball in the box and fired his effort past Andre Moreira.
Bruno Moreira doubled his side's advantage with a neat finish from close range, while Andrezinho added a third in the 26th minute to put the home side in control of the match at the break.
Pacos were handed the chance to extend their lead further when they were awarded a penalty. Bruno took the spot kick and buried his effort into the bottom corner.
Christian put his team in complete command when his effort from the edge of the box nestled into the bottom corner after collecting a pass from Romeu.
The home side were awarded their second penalty of the game when William brought down Bruno in the box, but the striker spurned his chance to net a hat-trick as his effort was saved by Andre Moreira.
However, Diego Joto completed the hammering when he added the sixth goal for his side by keeping his composure in the box before slotting his effort into the net.
The result lifts Pacos into seventh place in the table, while Uniao remain just above the relegation zone.
