Modena have pulled off an upset in the Coppa Italia by comfortably beating Palermo 3-0 this evening.
The visitors were ahead with less than six minutes on the clock courtesy of Nicola Ferrari, who found a way through to make it 1-0.
Things got even better for Modena before the interval when Stefano Beltrame doubled his side's lead on 42 minutes to put the Serie B outfit in command against their top-tier hosts.
Andrea Schiavone rounded off the scoring two minutes before the end at the Stadio Renzo Barbera to inflict further pain on the Eagles, with Palermo unable to find a response.
