Palermo won for the first time in four Serie A matches by coming from behind to beat Hellas Verona 2-1 this afternoon.
Panagiotis Tachtsidis gave the visitors the lead in the eighth minute with a powerful header into the top corner from Leandro Greco's corner.
Within 10 minutes, Palermo were on level terms as Paulo Dybala curled a low free kick in off the post.
At the end of the first half, Franco Vazquez had a great chance to score a second for the hosts, but he lashed his strike from inside the box high over the bar.
The teams struggled to create any further chances until the 79th minute, when Andrea Belotti headed in from Vazquez's cross at the front post.
Verona were unable to mount a response and the win proved to be enough to lift Palermo up to seventh in the table.
