How Paraguay could line up against Chile

:Headline: How Paraguay could line up against Chile:
Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Paraguay could line up for Friday's Copa America clash with Chile.
Sports Mole

Paraguay are expected to field an unchanged side going into Thursday's Copa America clash against Chile, after a creditable performance against a formidable Argentina outfit.

That will see Alberto Espinola, Gustavo Gomez, Junior Alonso and Santiago Arzamendia line up across the back four, after they limited a dangerous Argentina attacking line to very few quality chances.

In front of the back four will be the combative duo of Robert Piris Da Motta and Andres Cubas, shielding the defence and ensuring any opposition attacks are quickly snuffed out.

That solid base gives freedom for the attacking midfielders to venture forward, with Alejandro Romero, Miguel Almiron and Angel Romero having the license to start quick attacks.

The pace and trickery of that trio will definitely cause problems for Chile, and Paraguay could set up to soak up pressure and quickly break through those three.

They will support forward Gabriel Avalos, who goes in search of his first senior international goal, having only recently broken into the side.

Paraguay possible starting lineup: Silva; Espinola, Gomez, Alonso, Arzamendia; Piris, Cubas; Angel Romero, Almiron, Alejandro Romero; Avalos
