The general director of Italian club Parma, Pietro Leonardi, has insisted that Sebastian Giovinco is the best player in Italy ahead of the player's return to former club Juventus.
The 25-year-old attacking midfielder has had a huge impact at Parma in the last two seasons and Leonardi feels he will be very hard to replace.
In quotes published by Ansa, Leonardi said: "Even after selling him, I insist that Giovinco is the best player in Italy."
"I would have liked to see him play more at Euro 2012 because he could have been decisive.
"Without him, our team is weaker on paper. We will see what Amauri and the other signings will do."
Juventus have paid £9.5m for the remaining 50% of Giovinco's economic rights.
