Parma could reportedly face a six-point deduction after missing a deadline to pay three months of outstanding wages to their players and staff.
The Gialloblu are believed to be struggling financially and were stripped of their place in the Europa League last season over an unpaid tax bill.
Various reports in Italy have now claimed that the club have missed today's deadline to pay their wages.
They have been able to pay one month's wages of the three, but the Italian Football Federation are still expected to punish them by deducting a maximum of up to six points.
