Serie A outfit Parma have reached an agreement to sign Venezuelan striker Andres Sampedro.
The 17-year-old, who holds a Spanish passport, has spent the ongoing season playing for Greek side Patanias Chania.
However, during the summer he will link up with Parma on a five-year contract.
"My transfer to Parma happened gradually. I arrived at Ternana in 2008-09 and over my 18 months there the club scouts started watching me very carefully," he told lavinotinto.com.
"From the first day I arrived, the directors told me I would be heading for a more important club. Some of them are now part of the Parma setup and thanks to them and my agent Carlos Pizzi we were able to conclude the negotiations. I signed a five-year contract with my new club."
So far Parma have decided not reveal how much they have paid for the centre-forward's signature.
