Celtic's Scottish Premiership clash away at Partick Thistle has been postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.
The game was due start to this evening, but a 1pm inspection has seen it called off despite the best efforts of the ground staff to get the pitch ready, with the home side saying that a new date will be found shortly.
A statement on Partick Thistle's website said: "Unfortunately, following a pitch inspection, and despite the best efforts of the ground staff, today's game against Celtic has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch."
Celtic could now be overtaken at the top of the league if Aberdeen win their home game with St Johnstone this afternoon.
