Bram van Polen scored the only goal of the game to earn PEC Zwolle a 1-0 victory over Willem II in the Eredivisie this evening.
Zwolle's second win in eight matches takes them up to sixth in the table and eight points clear of their opponents.
Willem were unbeaten in three prior to kickoff, but failed to register a single shot during a first half which was dominated by the hosts.
Jesper Drost and Stef Nijland had wasted Zwolle's best chances and it appeared as though these misses would come back to haunt them as Willem held out for 75 minutes.
However, defender Van Polen picked the perfect time to pop up with his first goal of the season to secure his side the three points.
