Pescara have defeated fellow strugglers Genoa 2-0 at home in Serie A, but both sides remain in the bottom three.
In a goalless first half at the Stadio Adriatico, Daniel Tozser, Marco Borriello and Alexander Merkel went close for the visitors, while Vladimir Weiss and Birkir Bjarnason had good chances for Pescara.
The hosts broke the deadlock in the 53rd minute when Weiss released Elvis Abbruscato for a cool finish from just yards out.
Pescara wrapped up the points in the 73rd minute, Weiss once again providing the pass that Ante Vukusic fired in from the centre of the Genoa box.
