It is believed that Peterborough United are preparing to report Gianni Paladini to the Football League for allegedly making an illegal approach for manager Darren Ferguson on behalf of Nottingham Forest.
Paladini is understood to be acting as a consultant for the East Midlands club regarding their takeover by a consortium of Kuwaiti businessmen.
Current Forest manager Steve Cotterill is also furious about the move for Ferguson and he intends to put the matter into the hands of the League Managers' Association, according to the Daily Mail.
Paladini, who featured prominently in the BBC documentary QPR: The Four Year Plan, left his position as Queens Park Rangers chairman by mutual consent in November.
