Peterborough United have collected all three points in their opening match of the campaign against Swindon Town, thanks to an early strike from club-record signing Britt Assombalonga.
The 20-year-old wasted little time in making an impact at London Road, finding the target just nine minutes into his Posh career.
Assombalonga used his strength to find space just inside the penalty area, before guiding a volley into the corner with his right foot.
Tyrone Barnett and Lee Tomlin then forced saves from Wes Foderingham soon after, but the Swindon goalkeeper was equal to both efforts.
At the other end Massimo Luongo and Ryan Mason were unable to guide efforts from distance on target, with Darren Ferguson's side holding firm until the interval.
Luongo went close to an equaliser at the other hand, while the Posh saw a strong drive from distance come back off the post and away to safety.
Mason then went agonisingly close to an equaliser 10 minutes from time, but his fierce strike rattled the crossbar.
Peterborough survived a second-half fightback from Mark Cooper's Robins to start life in League One with a win.
