Craig Tanner has described Plymouth Argyle teammate Graham Carey's form this season as "phenomenal".
The summer signing from Ross County has scored five goals and set up three more in the early stages of his Pilgrims career.
Carey's impressive displays, which have helped lift Plymouth to the top of the League Two table, saw him rewarded with the PFA Fans' Player of the Month award for both August and September.
Speaking to Western Morning News, Tanner said: "Graham has been phenomenal this season. I have actually thoroughly enjoyed watching him. Obviously, I'm wanting to play with him, but I think everyone can appreciate what he has done.
"I don't think we would be in the position we are in without his goals and assists. I have just been watching him and learning off him. He's a great person and I get on really well with him - on and off the pitch."
Carey's only other taste of English football came in the 2010-11 season when he spent time on loan at Huddersfield Town.
