Germany have been well foiled by a resolute Poland side as the two sides enter the break goalless after 45 minutes of their Euro 2016 qualifier in Warsaw.
Thomas Muller was at the centre of the majority of the game's intriguing moments in the opening 20 minutes, as he went down theatrically inside the box before sending a shot straight at Wojciech Szczesny.
Mats Hummels then had the first real chance of the half with a header which was blocked at point-blank range by Kamil Glik.
Germany continued to create chances, and Karim Bellarabi almost netted a debut goal for Joachim Low's side, but his volleyed effort at the far stick bobbled just wide of the upright.
Muller should have done better in the 40th minute when he fired wide before Szczesny tipped away another strike from Bellarabi as the Germans turned up the heat before the interval, but Poland held firm to stay level at 0-0 at the break.
