Tom Pope has dismissed speculation that has linked him with a move away from Port Vale.
Recent reports have suggested that the 29-year-old is a January transfer target of both Barnsley and Millwall.
However, the striker, who has found the net nine times this season, has insisted that he will remain at Vale Park, providing that the club is keen to retain his services.
"I want to stay here and score goals for as long as possible, but the club have got to show the commitment to want me to stay," he told BBC Radio Stoke.
"Ever since I first signed for this club, I said I would only leave under two conditions - if I was released or if it was right for me and the club."
Over the weekend, Vale's caretaker manager Rob Page admitted that the club may find it hard to keep hold of the centre-forward.
