Porto take to the pitch for the first time as newly-crowned Primeira Liga champions when they play host to Estoril Praia at the Estadio do Dragao on Saturday.

The visitors, meanwhile, head into the game fresh off the back of ending their six-game winless run and will look to pick up successive league wins for just the second time this season.

Match preview

Porto were crowned champions of Portugal last Saturday courtesy of a late 1-0 victory over rivals Benfica when the sides squared off at the Estadio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica.

With the game headed for a draw, Nigerian full-back Zaidu Sanusi came up clutch as he scored a last-gasp 94th-minute winner to hand the Dragoes their 30th league title and a second in four years.

Sergio Conceicao's side now head home where they boast the division's best record as they are yet to lose a home game so far, picking up 14 wins and two draws from 16 games.

Porto are also currently on a run of five consecutive home victories across all competitions, stretching back to a 1-0 loss against Lyon in the Europa League on March 9.

With a highly-anticipated Taca de Portugal final against Tondela on the horizon, victory on Saturday could set the tone for that encounter as they look to secure an impressive domestic double.

Elsewhere, Estoril Praia returned to winning ways last time out when they saw off 15th-placed Moreirense 1-0 at the Estadio Antonio Coimbra da Mota.

Following an uneventful first half, 24-year-old midfielder Andre Franco broke the deadlock shortly after the hour mark to take his goal tally to 11 for the season and hand the hosts all three points.

Prior to that, the Canarinhos were on a six-game winless run, picking up two draws and losing four games, while scoring five goals and conceding 11 in that time.

Estoril Praia have now won nine, drawn 12 and lost 12 of their 33 games to collect 39 points this season and sit eighth in the league standings, two points above Portimonense just outside the top half of the table.

While Bruno Pinheiro's side will be looking to pick up a second consecutive win for the first time since last September, next up is an opposing side who they have lost against in each of the last eight meetings between the teams since 2013.

Team News

Porto will be without the services of Portuguese full-back Wilson Manafa, who has been out of action since last December through a leg injury.

Fellow countryman Bruno Costa is out of contention for Conceicao's side after coming off injured in March's Europa League tie with French outfit Lyon.

Meanwhile, Estoril Praia will be without 21-year-old centre-back Bernardo Vital, who received his marching orders in the game against Moreirense last weekend.

In his absence, Nahuel Ferraresi should return to the fold for his 22nd starting appearance of the season having served his suspension for seeing red against Famalicao on April 29.

Other names on the Canarinhos injury table include the duo of Ruben Providence and Lucas Africo, who are recuperating from ankle and knee injuries respectively.

Porto possible starting lineup:
Vlachodimos; Gilberto, Otamendi, Vertonghen, Grimaldo; Weigl, Taarabt, Everton; Ramos, Dias, Nunez

Estoril Praia possible starting lineup:
Figueira; Bruno, Silva, Ferraresi, Joaozinho; Gamboa, Geraldes; Carvalho, Gomes, Mboula; Fonte

We say: Porto 2-0 Estoril Praia

Still celebrating their league crown, Porto will head into the game with sky-high confidence as they look to set the pace for their upcoming Taca de Portugal final against Tondela. Looking at the contrasting form between the two sides, we predict the hosts will come away with all three points and send Estoril Praia crashing back down to earth.
