Portsmouth manager Michael Appleton has insisted that the rumours regarding a possible move to Blackpool are pure media speculation.
The 36-year-old is believed to have been targeted by the Seasiders following the departure of Ian Holloway to Crystal Palace at the weekend.
"I've not heard anything from Blackpool or the administrators so I'll just carry on doing my job here," Appleton told BBC Radio Solent. "The only link between me and Blackpool is what you see and read in the media."
Appleton was appointed the manager of Portsmouth last year ahead of the club's fall into administration.
