Portsmouth boss Rickie Barker has praised the contribution of midfield pair Romain Padovani and Wes Fogden to Monday's goalless draw with League Two leaders Chesterfield.
The visitors arguably had the better of the chances during the clash, while Padovani and Fogden both impressed with dynamic displays in the middle of the park for Barker's side.
Barker told Sky Sports News: "We sat down and gave them a really specific job to do - and I must say I thought they were fantastic.
"Wes's energy is just so contagious. He covers so much ground, but so does Romain and he was a real goal threat in the first half."
Portsmouth currently sit 15th in League Two.
