Richie Barker has warned the Portsmouth players that they have to improve if they want to stay at Fratton Park.
Pompey were beaten 2-0 by Bristol Rovers on Saturday afternoon and are now 20th in League Two.
"They have 10 days to play for their Pompey futures. They are where they are because they don't do the right things," Barker told the Portsmouth News.
"I have to be careful because I am going to end up keeping some of them. But they have to prove they deserve to be at Portsmouth."
Pompey play Dagenham & Redbridge next in the league.
