Michael Appleton is still waiting for his first win as Portsmouth manager after David Nugent's equaliser at Fratton Park this afternoon.
After a goalless first half of few chances David Norris put the home side ahead through a deflected shot. The midfielder picked up the ball after a defensive mix up in the Leicester area and his shot found its way past Kasper Schmeichel.
The lead didn't last long as former Pompey man David Nugent drove at the home defence before firing home from the edge of the area.
Appleton's side move up one place to 17th while Nigel Pearson's Leicester remain ninth.
