Preston North End striker Kevin Davies has revealed that he is relieved to have finally scored his 150th career goal.
The 37-year-old had not scored since January 2014 before netting the winning goal against Coventry City on Saturday.
Davies, who won one England cap in 2010, has reached the milestone in 806 appearances.
"It's been a long time coming, so I am pleased to get it and get it out the way I suppose," Davies told BBC Sport.
"It's finally over and people can stop saying 'is it going to be today? They've given me a couple of shirts with the 150 on, I think they've had it made up for about a year now.
"Personally it's nice to get it off and forget about it to concentrate on my normal game really."
Davies has also played for Chesterfield, Southampton, Blackburn Rovers and Bolton Wanderers during his career.
