Preston North End manager Simon Grayson says that he is satisfied with his side's point against in-form Barnsley this afternoon.
The Lilywhites were able to hold the recently-resurgent Tykes, who had won six of their previous seven games to propell themselves from a relegation scrap into the midst of the battle for a playoff place.
However, Grayson believes that the draw keeps Preston's push for automatic promotion to the Championship firmly on track.
He told the club's official website: "Coming here was a tough game for us, we knew that they were going to be at it with the good run they are on and how well they are playing.
"I just thought overall that it was a real good game to watch, both teams still trying to win it in the last five minutes. I think we had the clearer opportunities over the course of the game but while it is 1-0 you give the opposition that opportunity to get back into it.
"I'm satisfied with the point and seven points from nine this week has been a good accumulation for us."
Preston are three points ahead of Swindon Town and four ahead of MK Dons in the League One table.
