Preston North End manager Simon Grayson has confirmed that the club are considering whether or not to accept a bid from Rangers for striker Joe Garner.
The 28-year-old scored six goals in 44 appearances for the Championship side last season, and while Grayson has claimed that the club do not need to sell, they will speak to Garner to discover his thoughts on the move.
"We have had a bid from Rangers but we haven't accepted or declined it at this moment in time," Grayson told the Lancashire Evening Post. "We will be speaking to Joe to get an opinion on what he wants to do and try and get it concluded one way or the other.
"That is not to say we have to sell, sometimes you have to give the player the opportunity to see what he wants to do. It can be unfair if you decline an offer and a player wants to go."
Garner has two more years left on his current contract.
