Paris Saint-Germain midfielder David Beckham has insisted that he still has the passion of a youngster as he prepares to return to the Champions League on Wednesday.
The 37-year-old looks likely to play some part in his side's last-16 second leg tie with Valencia almost three years since he last appeared in the competition.
The former England captain believes that he still has a lot to contribute to Europe's elite competition.
"I might not be able to run as much as I used to when I was 21, but I'll try," Beckham told Sky Sports News.
"I can still get around the pitch and still play the balls I play. My passion hasn't changed, my energy hasn't changed, the way I want to win a game hasn't changed, so it's pretty much the same."
PSG lead 2-1 following the first leg in Spain.
