Paris Saint-Germain striker Mauro Icardi has reportedly emerged as a doubt for Tuesday's Champions League clash with RB Leipzig amid an apparent rift with his wife and agent Wanda Nara.
The Argentine forward has been married to Nara for over seven years, but the couple were at the centre of a social media storm over the weekend.
Nara initially unfollowed Icardi and posted an Instagram story translating to: "Another family that you have ruined for a sl*t" before the PSG man sought to downplay the rift with a post celebrating Mother's Day.
However, Nara proceeded to upload another story with the caption: "Good day. I prefer my hand without a wedding ring" on Monday morning, and L'Equipe now reports that Icardi missed PSG training on Sunday amid the drama.
The report claims that Icardi and Nara - who formerly dated Icardi's Argentine teammate Maxi Lopez - have now separated, and the PSG striker's status for Tuesday's battle with Leipzig is currently unclear.
Icardi has three goals to his name from 11 appearances in all tournaments this term and played the full 90 minutes in PSG's 2-1 win over Angers on Friday night.
