Rennes vs. PSG (Sunday, 12.00pm)

Paris Saint-Germain will aim to make it eight wins out of eight in the 2021-22 Ligue 1 season when they travel to the Roazhon Park to take on Rennes on Sunday lunchtime.

Both sides claimed wins in their midweek European fixtures, with Bruno Genesio's side overcoming Vitesse in the Conference League while PSG saw off Manchester City in the Champions League.

We say: Rennes 0-2 Paris Saint-Germain

With Rennes having had two fewer days to recover for this battle and set to name the bulk of the same XI from the win in the Netherlands, jellied legs will certainly impact their ability to halt a rampant PSG outfit.

The hosts do not concede many goals at the Roazhon Park, but Pochettino's men are sweeping aside all before them in Ligue 1 and ought to utilise their greater squad depth to record another routine win here.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Angers vs. Metz (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Angers will host Metz on Sunday with the home side looking to add to the 13 points they have collected this season, which leaves them in fifth place heading into the weekend.

Their opponents enter the matchday in the Ligue 1 relegation playoff position with only six points to their name this term.

We say: Angers 2-1 Metz

This could be a tightly-contested affair and though Angers are winless in their last four games, we think the hosts will have too much quality for a Metz side who are struggling to match the form of last season.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Lorient vs. Clermont (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Lorient will host Clermont on Saturday in Ligue 1 and the home side will look to add to the 13 points they have collected this season, which sees them enter the weekend in sixth place.

Clermont are four points worse off than their opponents and, as a result, they head into the matchday in 15th position.

We say: Lorient 3-1 Clermont

Lorient are experiencing a fine run of form and they will face a Clermont side who are struggling to pick up points of late, and that is why we think the hosts will win on Sunday, which would extend their unbeaten run to six league games.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Monaco vs. Bordeaux (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Monaco will be looking to continue their Ligue 1 recovery on Sunday afternoon when they welcome Bordeaux to Stade Louis II.

The hosts are now back up into the top half after a poor start to the campaign, whilst their upcoming opponents are still struggling down in 16th.

We say: Monaco 2-1 Bordeaux

Whilst Bordeaux appear to have steadied the ship, so too have Monaco and, if both teams play to their potential, it is the hosts who have more class in their ranks.

The Monegasques won the pair's two meetings last season 4-0 and 3-0. Whilst we do not expect the margin to be that large on this occasion, it should be a reasonably routine victory for the home side.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Nantes vs. Troyes (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Troyes will aim to remain outside of the relegation zone when they travel to face Nantes at the Stade de la Beaujoire on Sunday afternoon.

The visitors currently sit 17th in the table, clinging onto a spot outside the drop zone via goal difference, whilst their hosts are comfortably in mid-table.

We say: Nantes 2-0 Troyes

Neither side has been consistently impressive this season but Nantes should have the edge, especially considering their home advantage and the significant defensive absences for Troyes.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Lille vs. Marseille (Sunday, 4.00pm)

Reigning champions Lille welcome Marseille to Stade Pierre-Mauroy on Sunday as they look to continue to move up the table.

The visitors, meanwhile, will be aiming to get back on track after an impressive start to their Ligue 1 campaign this year has faltered in recent games.

We say: Lille 2-2 Marseille

This has all the hallmarks of being an entertaining fixture and one which could go either way depending on which team produces the kind of performance they are truly capable of. Goals look likely and we fancy a lively 2-2 draw between the two sides.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

St Etienne vs. Lyon (Sunday, 7.45pm)

Lyon travel to the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard on Sunday evening to take on bottom side Saint-Etienne in the final game of Ligue 1's ninth round of matches.

A strong run of results has seen the visitors move up to seventh in the table, whilst the hosts are still searching for their first win of the season.

We say: Saint-Etienne 1-2 Lyon

The atmosphere created by the Saint-Etienne fans in the first derby they have been able to attend in a long time will help the home side, but it will likely not be enough to compensate for their recent form. A draw is not out of the question, especially with the number of absences for Lyon, but we just about fancy them to edge this game.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
