Paris Saint-Germain manager Laurent Blanc has said that his side deserved to beat Lorient on Friday night.
PSG continued their pursuit for domestic glory with a 1-0 win away from home, thanks to a first-half goal from midfielder Thiago Motta.
"I don't think we stole the win here. It's true that we weren't as good as usual and that was down to the way Lorient played," said Blanc, according to the official Ligue 1 website.
"They were dangerous in two or three phases of the game and it was a difficult game. We knew it would be because clubs like Monaco have dropped points here.
"We can't expect to win every game three, four or 5-0. We got the win though and I need to congratulate my players, even if they weren't extraordinary here."
PSG currently hold top spot in the Ligue 1 table.
