Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Blaise Matuidi has said that he is relishing Tuesday's Champions League last-16 clash with Valencia.
The 25-year-old started on the bench in last night's 3-1 victory over Bastia as Carlo Ancelotti rotated his squad ahead of the crucial tie.
Matuidi said that it was important for Les Parisiens to prepare well by taking three points at the Parc des Princes.
"We needed to get the three points to prepare calmly for Valencia," said Matuidi. "Now we can focus on that match.
"I can't wait. It's going to be a first for me, an exciting match to play and we are all very motivated."
The win sees PSG stretch their lead at the top of Ligue 1 to six points.
